How do I request a room?

Who may stay?

Families of pediatric patients under the age of 21 being treated at the Hershey Medical Center. (Patients over the age of 17 must be a full-time student/dependent child.)

Are there geographic restrictions?

Families must reside outside of the immediate Harrisburg/Lebanon area--at least a 30 minute drive from Hershey.

Do you take reservations for rooms?

NO, you should call the House to make a room request when you need a room or as soon as you know your future arrival date. Rooms are filled on an "as available" basis and cannot be guaranteed until the scheduled day of arrival. The House is frequently full and operating on a wait list basis.

How do I get there?

Go to our driving directions page. Input your starting location and you will automatically be directed to the MapQuest page with driving directions to the house.

How many guests can stay in a room?

The maximum number is 4. Some rooms can only accommodate 3 adults. Cribs are available.

When is check-in?

Guests must check in and complete an orientation between the hours of 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM before using the facility. Registered guests have 24 hour key access to the building.

Can I be placed on a "wait list" if a room is not immediately available?

Yes. If you are on the wait list because the House is full, you must call back at least once daily until space is available.
