How You Can Help
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central PA offers many opportunities for you to get involved and directly help children and their families. We also have a speakers bureau comprised of volunteers and staff who are available to make presentations about RMHC® of Central PA to your group.
Donate
Make a monetary donation to support the operations of the Ronald McDonald House® and Ronald McDonald Family Room®. Check out the brick campaign or collect change for our Change Challenge to help with our expansion project.
Drop cash donations into collection canisters at area McDonald’s® Restaurants.
Volunteer
A gift of your time is very much appreciated at the Ronald McDonald House® or the Ronald McDonald Family Room®; please contact Pam Vesce, Volunteer Coordinator, for more information. Ask if your employer participates in a "Dollars for Doers" program whereby grants would be available to RMHC® of Central PA through your volunteer support. Organize
Organize a fundraising event for Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central PA. Please download our fund raising agreement in PDF format.
Make a House Meal
Make a meal for our Ronald McDonald House guests. Our meals program is a great way for a group or service organization to get involved. You can also schedule a cleaning project at the house. Helping to keep the inside and outside of the facility clean and safe for all guests is a great way to support the program. Please call Todd Layser, House Manager, for details and scheduling.
Collect
Collect aluminum can pull tabs and glossy magazines.
Wish List
Collect items from our wish list. (Please note that all donations must be new and unused; we cannot accept used items due to infectious disease policies. All food donations must be prepared in commercial kitchens only--we are unable to accept food and baked goods that are prepared in home kitchens.)
